So, last night I did the Global Night Commute for the Invisible Children (see invisiblechildren.com .com not .org) and slept outside underneath a bridge along with about 400 other people. We wrote letters to the president and the senate urging them to turn their attention to Uganda, because children there are getting kidnapped and forced to be child soldiers. See the website for more info, but its a sick thing thats going on. We slept outside to make a statement. You see, in order to protect the children, they have to take the children into the nearest city at night to sleep, because the people attack the villages at night. So the children have to walk miles before they go to bed. This is what we did. some people walked all the way from JBC to the meeting place 15 miles!!! Others drove to a kroger and then walked, shorter but still over 9 miles! I and my friend on the other hand planned to meet someone and then go so we drove into town and then walked... we didnt walk NEARLY as much as everyone else and we got there a bit late. It wasnt a Christian event, but alot of the Christians there brought instruments and we had a worship time going for a while before we went to bed, it was fun. I only had 2 blankets with me and slept on concrete plus it was really cold. needless to say I didnt sleep much... I know I got some sleep though... because I checked my cell once and it was 3:30 AM and then a bit later looked and it was 5:30 AM... I got up then, because we were gonna get up at 6 anyway for a picture. man that was a hard night...

Another one of my friends was there doing security and he drove us back to the dorms. I changed and decided to try and take a nap before going to church, but the alarm didnt go off and I was awakened at 12 by a cellphone call.

I got up, dressed and worked on the computer some before going out to eat. I also got the camo jacket today. I got some camo pants a while back and the other day I asked my friend, 'would it be weird if I got a camo jacket' he said 'Go for it!' and so today I did. its actually really comfy. anyway I got an ID up, it sucks, but itll do for now. yep thats how I look! I might bleach my hair blond again sometime, but we'll just have to see about that.

well Ill try and get some stuff up soon. Im actually trying to draw a short comic. I have a rough sketch of the first few panels. Ill work on it as time permits and hopefully Ill have it up soon.
